1 ball of yellow and i ball of white cotton yarn ( as for example Anna & Carla’s 100% cotton yarn from Sostrene grene, 50g=160m)

A crochet hook approriate for your yarn. the one from Sostrene Grene used hooks sized 2.5 or 3 mm

A tapestry needle
